Chapter Two - Its a Long, Windy Road Ahead

A few days had passed and Carrie had begun to feel a lot better about her having her heart broken by Robert Newbie. He had tried to call her a few times, but she thought it best to move forward. Soon Carrie's career began to blossom and she found herself being able to do relaxing things such as gardening in her free time. One day after work she decided to instead visit the gym, as she feared those waffles she loved so much were not agreeing with her figure. Only moments before she decided to give strength training a try, she ran into a rather handsome man who was going for the same machine.
"Oh, i'm sorry." he said as he stood beside the machine, "did you want this?" Carrie smiled a bit awkwardly, as she usually did in the presence of a handsome guy. "Oh no, really, you can have it - i'll just.." She paused, the rest of the machines were taken.
"Now what kind of man would I be if I didn't realize it's always ladies first, expecially the beautiful ones." Carrie froze. She wasn't sure she was ready to flirt again, what if this man had children?
"Oh, well I guess you're right. Yeah. OK." She moved to sit on the machine before he lightly grasped her arm.
"I'm Trigger by the way, Trigger Broke." This one was a charmer, she knew she was in trouble.
"Hi Trigger, i'm Carrie. I just moved here." The small talk continued on and before she knew it he had formally invited her to his home the next evening. She reluctantly agreed.

The next evening Carrie arrive at the Broke household and was quickly greeted by a young woman. "Hello, how may I help you?" Thoughts raced through Carrie's mind, she had hoped she was only his sister.
"Hi, i'm Carrie. I uh...Trigger invited me over." The woman smiled and extended her hand,
"Oh hi, i'm Ruby, Trigger's sister. Come on in, he told us all about you and how excited he was you'd be coming!" Carrie blushed, she had that feeling of butterflies in her stomach. As she walked in she quickly noticed Trigger coming to the door. "I'm sorry about that, Ruby, my sister - she talks too much." Carrie could tell he was embarassed but she didn't mind. She took this time to examine his home which was rather well, raggedy. At least she knew money wouldn't matter more than her in this circumstance. The night went well as did the night after that. This time she had invited Trigger to her home, which was substantially better looking than it had been. They clicked so well and she had loved every minute with him so she decided tonight would be the night they made it official. As the night came to a close, Carrie whispered into Trigger's ear before he left to leave.
"Please don't go. I want you to be with me tonight." They shared a passionate kiss and and an even more passionate night. By morning they were a couple.

A couple more days had passed in a blur and Trigger was all Carrie could think about. It was all happening so fast, but she knew she was in love. She was also pretty sure he was in love with her as well. One night after she made her delicious Autumn Salad for the both of them, she had pulled him aside. He smirked, "Is it that time of the night?" She laughed and shook her head before reaching out for the ring and proposing to him right on the spot. Trigger's face was filled with glee as he agreed. They were both so ecstatic that they decided to share a private wedding right then and there. It was then she told Trigger,
"Now it's that time of the night!" Little did they know that their first shared night as husband and wife would also be the night they created their first child.

It was only the next day when Carrie felt constant nausea and vomiting before she realized she was pregnant. She was very frightened as a child was not in her future plans, this would be a huge strain on her career. When Trigger had arrived home from work that afternoon she decided she had to tell him. Only she didn't expect him to be so happy! He felt her tummy and went on and on about how they'd be the perfect family. Carrie hoped this would be true and her fear would subside. This fear wouldn't have much time to fade away because it was only 2 days later that she was rushed to the hospital to give birth. Later that evening after an agonizing labor, Carrie Carlisle had given birth to she and Trigger's second generation - a baby girl named Samantha.

Samantha had become the new love of Trigger's life while Carrie had suffered mild post-pardom depression. Was this the end of their marriage? Was she going to be an awful mother? Only time will tell....

Chapter One - Loveless but Not Lost.

Times were rough on Carrie her first few days of her new life in Riverside. Not just because she didn't even have four walls around her, but she could barely survive each day that passed. Everything was going wrong, including a broken sink that she had to fix herself because she was too poor to hire a repairman. She was getting sick of living off the community buildings in town and starved for more. That's when she thought her luck had turned around, or had it? Quickly Carrie became friends with a rather handsome guy named Robert Newbie. He made her feel so safe and comfortable, comfortable enough to even invite him to her not-so appealing home.

Once Robert had arrived they quickly got into conversation and conversation had quickly turned into flirting. Before Carrie knew it, she had found herself kissing whom she hoped could turn out to be the love of her life. It could have been a great page turner, she thought to herself. The poor new girl meeting up with the man of her dreams! That was until he broke the news - ROBERT WAS MARRIED! Carrie felt so ashamed, she had never been a homewrecker. However, she couldn't help but wonder if maybe this was meant to be and to pursue it anyway. Unfortunately Robert abruptly informed Carrie he would never choose her over his wife, Mags Newbie. Their life and apparently, their fortune, was far more important. So Carrie's dream was shot in that instant, she decided they'd be just friends and she threw Robert out of her life for good.

Fortunately when Carrie finally thought all was lost she found comfort in her best friend Vadim Simovitch. Vadim and his wife, Fatima, had been nothing but gracious to Carrie since she had moved into Riverview. Even better, Vadim was also her boss and often began giving Carrie promotions and raises. Things were finally looking up, so much so that she had finally turned her home into a lovely... shack. She only hoped from here on out her luck would continue to turn around for the better.

Meet Carrie Carlisle.

Carrie Carlisle is the newest resident of Riverview. She is a genius, however it has not bode well for her career just yet. She finds herself rather dirt poor living with only a small couch, toilet, sink and refrigerator. Luckily Carrie is rather frugal and spends a lot of her time clipping coupons from the newspaper.

Although she doesn't have much to live on, Carrie finds sanctuary within the Museum and Art Gallery of Riverview. There she finds comfort in regular bathing and painting in her spare time. Here she hopes to run into Prince charming, as she is quite the flirty, hopeless romantic. Her charm may not rub off so well on suitors she fears, for she is quite the computer whiz - AKA geek.

While she does wait to be swept off her feet she will keep her focus on her career. She has big dreams in becoming a creature-robot cross breeder. For now however, a test subject position will have to do. Let's hope an experiment doesn't leave her completely cross-wired.
